MicroSearch to the Rescue!

If you checked in yesterday then you are well aware that our camera gear got jacked. I was about the cancel the trip to New Orleans to shoot a few segments for the diversion we were calling Spicy RV 2.5, but there was one last option. The amazing people at MicroSearch (specifically Carlos) sponsored us for Spicy RV 2.0 & hooked us up with great rates on additional lighting and wireless microphones. They were our last hope to get a camera for this weekend, and they came through!

We now have a camera for the weekend comparable to the one that got stolen, and by comparable I mean better. We should be able to shoot at least one segment on Bourbon Street Friday night (and we will be looking for Willis), and shoot all day at the New Orleans Hot Sauce Show on Saturday. We can’t thank everyone at MicroSearch enough. Make sure to check out their site if you’re doing any type of video recording or production. They have reasonable rental rates on everything from prosumer video cameras to studio quality audio and video gear. Just walking into the showroom feels like you’re in a TV studio. We will post all the video goodness we shoot this weekend after we finish posting everything from the last road trip, so that should be sometime next year.

I’m just kidding…..I hope.
