Stop 5 – Angier, North Carolina

Stop number five, Challenge number 3 headed your way.  Angier, North Carolina is the home of Sunni Sky’s Homemade Ice Cream shop.  Indeed an unlikely location for spicy stuff worthy of a SpicyRV stop, but you’d be surprised.  

Both of the things we do in back alleys for extra cash, and at the actual ice cream. The dish in question is called Cold Sweat Ice Cream, and let me tell you, it is suitably named.  It is ice cream made from, and with, a whole mess of spicy peppers.  I couldn’t get any info on specifically what peppers are in this ice cream, despite my back alley shenanigans, but I can tell you this: there are a lot, and they are spicy.  

If that wasn’t hot enough, we heard there’s a new ice cream there that’s even hotter than Cold Sweat! I assure you, this is the most literal equivalent you will ever find of hell freezing over.  Except maybe when it snows in Hell, Pennsylvania.  Yeah, I’ve been there, you gotta go through Hell to get to Intercourse, but- sorry, I got side tracked by good memories and bad jokes.  Hell, the ice cream alone even has a website all to itself! Anyway, stay tuned to see just how much of this stuff we can down.  It may not be much, but we’ll sure as hell try. Care to root us on?
